Do not overtake unless you can do so safely. Make sure the road is sufficient clear ahead and behind. Do not get too close to the vehicle you intend to overtake - It will obscure your view of the road ahead. Use your mirrirs. Signal before you start to move out. Taje extra care at night and in poor visibility when it is harder to judge speed and distance.
